The client only described the atmosphere they wanted—festive, welcoming, and eye-catching. Based on this idea, our team was responsible for developing the entire concept and transforming it into a real fiberglass God statue.

From Concept to 3D Design

Since the client provided no reference materials, our design team created a complete image using 3D character models. We designed the figure's pose, clothing details, facial expression, and proportions from scratch. The most important element was the expression; the God sculpture needed to convey a warm and welcoming feeling, so we spent a significant amount of time meticulously sculpting the sculpture's face.

We also analyzed the installation requirements in the early design stages. Since the custom statue would be placed on the edge of the shop's roof, the angle of the figure's body, the position of the arms, and the way the gold ingot is held needed to appear natural and fluid from the ground, while also ensuring safe balance. After several rounds of adjustments, the client finally approved the 3D model.

Fiberglass Construction and Handcrafting

After confirming the 3D model, our studio began creating the custom fiberglass sculpture. The main body of the sculpture was hand-sculpted using multiple layers of high-strength fiberglass to ensure it could withstand outdoor elements. The curves of the figure, such as the face, arms, and clothing folds, required repeated sanding and polishing to precisely match the 3D model.

For coloring, we used outdoor-grade automotive paint. The red clothing, gold trim, and metallic gold bars were applied in multiple layers to achieve a bright, clean tone that remains vibrant even in sunlight. Our painters were dedicated to maintaining the lifelike expression of the figure, striving to reproduce the 3D design as faithfully as possible.

Assembly, Testing, and Finishing

Before shipping, the custom sculpture was assembled in the factory for quality checks. We evaluated the sculpture's perspective, surface smoothness, color consistency, and structural stability. Since the sculpture would be placed at a height, we also inspected its internal reinforcement structure to ensure its safety and stability after installation.
